NEW FERRY WHARF.
OPERATIONS COMMENCED,' Construction of tlio new ferry wharf in proximity to No. 1 Ferry Wharf was commenced yesterday. The structure will he 200 ft. long and 33ft. wide, and will bo built of ironb.vk loathed piles, with decking of Australian brushwood. The wharf will bo used chiefly for ferry purposes, but will also bo utilised for accommodating tho mosquito fleet. In nldition to this wharf, tiJio present ferry wharf will be extended 60ft.
