A delegation from the Literary Congress visited tlio I'alais do Justico to lav a wreath upon the statuo of Emilo Zoln. The officials protested their ignorance of the existence of tlio statue. The delegation was extremely angry, and the' Radical papers furious over the mislaying of tho statue, which is eight feet high. After several hours' search it was discovered in a lumber room.
