POINTS ON THE ESTIMATES.

The men in the military training camps, according to Mr. J.- Payne, M.P., are being trained to kill. Tho Hon. Jas. Allen retorted thut the men were being trained not to be killed. Mr. Hindmarsh last evening hit upon ian item in the Defenco Estimates: "Delivering cargo." "Have the officers been irking'on tho wharf" he demanded.

Mr,_ R. F, Bollard was talking about experimental farms in tho House of Representatives last evening when Mr. J. Payne interjected: "Can't hear!" Mr.' Bollard (scornfully): "You are not a farmer; it doesn't matter." (Laughter.) ' )
