At Middlesborough, Hatfield swam threo hundred yards in 3min. 26 2-ssec., beating Beaurepaire's world's record. [In.August, 1910, at Exeter, England, Beaurepaire, the Australian, swam 300 yards in 3min. 30sec.] AUSTRALIA'S BIG MOVE. Sydney, September 17. A mooting of sporting bodies and prominent citizens decided to establish a. fund for the representation of Australasia at the Olympic Games in 1914.
