CITIZENS' CARNIVAL.

At the Town Hall last evening, meetings of the Sports Committee, Side Shows Committee, and Ladies' Stalls Committee—all sub-committees of the Citizens' Carnival Committee—wero held, for tho purpose of appointing representatives on tho executive and other committees. Mr. A. Marryatt was appointed to represent the Sports Committee on the executive, Mr. C. Cathie was appointed representative on the Grounds Committee, and Mr. H. M'Keowen was appointed representative on the Printing and Advertising Committeo. Tho meeting of the Side Shows Com'mitteo was presided over by Councillor George Frost, and he was appointed to represent that committee on the executive. Mr. R. B. Grange was appointed to tho Grounds Committee, and Mr.— Rose to tho Printing and Advertising Committee.

Mrs. R. Fletcher was appointed to represent the Ladies' Stalls Committee on the executive, and Mrs. C. J. Knight was appointed to represent that committee on tho Grounds Committee. Mrs. Weston was to the Printing and Advertising Committee. Meetings of the Physical Drill, Children's and Spectacular Display, and Reception and Entertainment Committees aro to be held on Friday night.
