POIIT NICHOLSON 1 OLUB MEETS. . Tho annual meeting of tho Port Nicholson Yaoht Club was held in Godber's Rooms, Oourtenay Plaoe, last evening, Mr. H.' Chisholm presiding. About 3U members were present. Among tho resignations received was one from tho far Kaingaroa, Chatham Islands, bearing tho signature of Mr. J. M'Lean, senior, a very old member of the club. All resignations .were accepted, with tho exception of that of Mr. M'Lean, who was elected.a life member.

Tie annual report and balance-sheet (previously published) were read and adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron, his Excellency Lord Liverpool; president, Mr. J. P. Luke (Mayor): vice-presidents, Hon. F. M. B. Fisher, M.P., Captain 0. 0. Post, Captain Johnson (Harbourmaster), and Messrs. R. Flotcher, Geo Mee, J. B. Speed, W. A. Wilkinson, D. Keir, D. Howard, and Dr. W. Fell; commodore, Mr. G. F. Bothamley; vice-commodore, Mr. F. Cook; rear-commodoro, Mr. A. Lancaster; committee, Dr. H. Chesson, and Messrs. 0. Freyberg, P. Moore, E. Bough, H. E. Chisholm, and' R. Millman; treasurer, Mr. S. Mason; secretary, Mr. L. Sloightholmo; liandicapper, Mr. 0. P. Ward; racing secretary, Mr. G. R. Little; judge, starter, timekeeper, Mr. L. Sloightholme. , Six now menbers wore elected, and it was decided to hold the next go'neral meeting threo weeks hence..
