The Wellington Cricket Association met on Tuesday night. Mr. M. F. Luckie presided. The secretary of the Now Zealand Council wroto to the effect that it had been decided to send a team to Australia in tho coming season, and that it had also been decided to ask the local associations to nominate any players who wore worthy of consideration by the selection oommittee. Messrs.' F. Midlane, C. G. Wilson, and J: P. Blacklock were appointed l to nominate Wellington players. It .was reported that the Now Zealand' Council had decided not to admit Southland to the Plunket Shield competitions.
