THE Y.W.C.A. BUILDING CANVASS. (By Tolecraph —Pre 33 Association.) Auckland, September 17. Tho first half of tho Y.W.C.A. ton days' campaign for funds for a nonbuilding has boon highly successful, and at noon Miss Barnes (national secretary) declared tho total, amount collected to b; £10,176 os. 4d. Tho average amount collected daily is thus .over £2000. Collecting will bo vigorously continued until next Wednesday, so that fivo days remain in which to obtain tho remaining £5000.
