OPPORTUNITY FOR AMENDS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyripht "Times"—Sydney "Sun" Special Cables. (Rec. September 16, 7.10 p.m.) London, September 16. King Constantino has altered his plans, antr now infends visiting England beforo going to Paris, where a banquet given by M. I'oincaire will afford him an opportunity to effaco tho. memories of tho Potsdam oration.
Great irritation was caused in Franco over a speech at Potsdam by King Constantino of Greece, endorsing remarks by the Kaiser, who attributed the Greek victories in tho Balkan war to tho training tho officei'3 bad received from Germany. King Constantino said that these victories had given Greece assurance, and had also had tho effect of restoring confidencqf in the German Army, which the Turkish disasters had impaired. Tho irnitation was tho more acute' by reason of tho fact that a French missfou~iiiider General Eydoux had been reorganising tho Greek Army' for five years.
