RICHMOND'S DISLOYAL MAYOR. By Telejrrajh—Press Association—Copyright Melbourne, September 16. The Richmond Borough Council unanimously resolved: —"That as no contradiction has been given to the reports that the Mayor (Mr. Webber) purposely omitted tho . toast -of 'The King' from tho toasts at tho recent official dinner (given by him, because lio held Republican viows, and in consideration of tho fact that the citizens of Richmond aro deeply concerned thereby, this council places on record that the views of the Mayor are not held by tho council, and declares its unwavering loyalty to the Monarchy."
