In the semi-finals in the morning A. Duncan (Wellington), who was evidently feeling tlio results of the shaking ho received in a motorcar accident in tho morning, was beaten by A. Lewis (Wanganui), two up and one to play, while W. S. Ralph (Auckland) beat J. Harold (Wanganui), 0110 up at tho 19th hole. The final was played in the afternoon when Ralph beat Lewis, oiie up. ■ ■ NEXT CHAMPIONSHIP AT DUN- . EDIN. Nasler, September 15. At tlio annual'meeting of tho New Zealand Ladies' Golf ■ Union to-nigjit, Miss Rattray was re-elected president, and Mrs. Mellsop wifcs re-elcctcd secretary. It was decided to hold next year's championship tournament in Dunedin, commencing in October. THE WELLINGTON CLUB. Tho monthly cleek match under the auspices of tho Wellington Golf Club was played on Saturday, and resulted in .iWin for G. H. 'Fell, with a net score of 77.
