SHAREHOLDERS AND DIRECTORS. At a conference between- the shareholders' committee and the directors of the Bank of New Zealand, certain' provisions of the Bank of New Zealand Bill, 1913, now before Parliament," were discussed. . To some! of these clauses the shareholders take exception, but no final agreement could bo reached 1 on the issues between the shareholders and the directors. The conference will meet egain to-morrow. i ' Mr. Sidney Kirkcaldio writes to say: "As chairman of the shareholders' Committee of the Bank of New Zealand, I strongly adviso shareholders to retain their present holdings, pending the result of negotiations now proceeding with the board of directors."
