ASSOCIATION.
THE W.F.A. COMMITTEE. Mr. J. B. Paton presided over the usual meeting of tho lUanagement Committee of tlio Wellington Football Association last evening. Tho boys' sub-committee recommended that a Fifth Division A trial match bo played next Saturday, and also that a Fifth A Division team play a Fifth B Division team on Saturday, September 20.—Adopted. Tho following notice of motion was tabled by Mr. A. Williams, secretary: "That owing to the fact that tliero aro four bodies (namely, the New Zealand Football Association, tlio Now Zealand Reforees' Association, tho Wellington Football Association, and tho Wellington Referees' Association) dealing with Association football in Wellington,• and as it lias been the custom in tho past to appoint persons to act on more than ono of tho management committees of tho bodies mentioned, no person shall bo qualified to act on moro than ono body." Mr. 11. Y. Walls seconded. It was decided to defer sending it forward to tho Now Zealand Football Council till after tho next meeting of tho Wellington Football Association. Mr. Duncan gave notice to move at tho animal meeting of tho W.F.A.: "That members of tho Management Committee of any other Association football controlling body be not eligible to sit on tho W.F.A. Management Committee." SATURDAY'S FIXTURES. The following are the grounds and referees for Saturday's games:— Charity Cup (semi-final) —Swifts v. Hospital, at Basin Reserve, Mr. R. S. Lithgow. Y.M.C.A. v. St. Johns, at Kelbunio Park, Mr. R. S. Lithgow. Second Division Challengo Cup—Potonc v. Brooklyn United, at Petono' Recreation Ground, Mr. J. Duffy. Henderson, Memorial Cup—Congregational A v. St. David's, at Duppa Street No. 1, Mr. S. F. M'Lean. , Fifth A Division trial match at Anderson Park, at 2 p.m., Mr. W. J. Taylor. Fifth B Division trial match, at Anderson Park, at 3 p.m., Mr. W. J. Taylor. Sixth Division representatives v. South Wellington, at Basin Reserve, at 1.45 p.m., Mr. E. Bethell. • House match —Coulls, Culling v. Ferguson, Osborne, at Wakefield Park No. 3, at 3 p.m., Mr. J. A. Leddy.
