A suggestion is made regarding tho mining difficulty at Blackball that if the wives of the married men who are the principal sufferers in the event of industrial trouble, had equal votes witli their husbands, the domination by tho single men, wh'o are ready' at a moment s notice to louve for' elsewhere, would cease. Somo think that tlie Blackball caso demands amended legislation with this provision.
