SMALLPOX ESCAPEES.
LEGAL PROCEEDINGS PENDING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright i Sydney, September 9. The authorities intend to proceed •against the five smallpox patients who escaped from, quarantine on Saturday. (Rec. September 10, 0.5 a.m.) Sydney, September 9. Fourteen cases of smallpox were reported to-day, including one case from tho Railway Doviation Works at Helensburg.
