SHAREHOLDERS' PROTEST. (By Telegraph.—Prera Association.) . OunodiH, September 9. 'A' meeting of shareholders of the Bank of New Zealand was , held here to-day to consider the provisions of the Bank of New Zealand Bill now before Parliament. Tho resolution was carried unanimously: "That tho Bill is an injustice to present shareholders of the bank in two respects : (X) That it practically deprives thorn of any voice in tho management of the affairs of the bank; (2) that the interest to b« allowed upon B preference shares should be no greater than that previously allowed to the .Government in respect of A preference shares," >
