Tho Sylvia Park gelding' will be a runner at the Wanganui meeting. Ti Lloyd arrived from Marton yesterday with Glenmoro and Marton, wTio are to be shipped to Sydney to-day. This is Lloyd's second trip to Sydney. In 1897 he took Ditto over for tho late J. B. Williamson. Ditto turned out a very useful' horse, and 'amongst other races he won a Caulfield National. / J. M'Laughlin is taking the three-' year-old filly Daybreak, Loch Maben, and Prince Eddie to Sydney to-day. M. Cameron's Hastings team. , . . The brood* maro DeLimore is to visit Maniopoto this year, and a half-sister to Kow, belonging to Mr. H. M. Speed, will also go on a visit to the Soult horse, whose progeny were much in evidence at the Marton meeting. Mr. E. Goodbehcrc, of the Feilding Jockey Club, was presont at tho Marton meeting in his official capacity as representative of tho Racing Conference. It is the intention of the executive of the Feilding Jockey Club to apply to the Railway Department for a special fast train from Feilding to Wellington on both days of the November' meeting. This will bo a boon to local sportsmon, who will, no doubt, roll up in large numbers When it is known that they can get home by 10 p.m. Quite a shake in tho Now Zealand ■ Cup market 'was noticeable yesterday when a big commission was worked all over tho Dominion in favour of Empera<lor. Tho Charlomagno II horso is at present in Sydnoy, under R. J. Mason, and is evidently pleasing that astute mentor in his tasks. Many good judges hold tho opinion that the best has not been scon of the son of Lady Wayward, who was hurried somowhat last season.
