SCHOOL CONCERT.

On Thursday evening the scholars of the Mitchelltuwn School gave their annual concert. Tho programme was divided into two parts, tlio infants enacting an operetta entitled "Tho Enchanted Palace" in the iirst half, and tho elder scholars performed the operetta "The Snow Queen," which concluded tile concert. During the evening Mr. Hampton, chairman, on behalf of the committee, presented to the school a banner to commemorate the winning of the junior schools' Rugby championship by tho Mitchelltown team. Mr. Malcolm, headmaster, suitably responded. The proceedings throughout wero vory enthusiastic, and tho school funds were considerably augmented as a result of tho concert.
