MORE ABOUT CORINTHIANS. Mr. J. B. Fafcon presided over the weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Football -'Association last evening. Letters "vero received from Mr. T. Orouoh, president of the late Corinthian Chb. and Mr. R. A. Simpson, secretary,

stating that the letter which caused tho committee to suspend the whole club for life had not been written with tho official permission of tho olub. Mr. Simpson stated that lie had written tho letter on his own initiativo. It was deoided that tho president of tho Corinthians bo askod to produce all books in connection with tho club boforo any further action bo taken.

It was decided that entries be called for a six-a-sido tournament in tho Public Schools' Competition. Tho following entries wero received for the Boy Scouts' Competition: — Rosenoath, Kellmrne, St. Peter's, and St. Thomas's.

A reoommendation from tho Boys* Sufb-comimitteo that tho Marlborough Sohool team 'be matched against a Wellington) schools' team, when tlioy visit , Wellingt on on September 6, was adopted. A letter was received from tho Football Association stating schools' representative team woulu play Wellington Fifth Division representatives at Wellington on September 6. It was decided to instruct the selectors to ohooso tho Wellington team next Saturday. _ '

Tho case of T. Crouch, of the Corinthian Club, Was concluded. A motion was carried to the effect that Mr. Crouch did not adhere strictly to tho dutios of linesman in the DiamondsCorinthians match, but that he had not been proved guilty of with the progress of tho game. Previous to tho abovo resolution being carried, the committee rescinded a former resolution which had suspended complainant for two years.' R. A. Simpson, late secretary of tho Corinthian Club, in answer to the committee's letter of July 16, wrote, complaining of disabilities imposed on him by his recent suspension.
