RUMOURED ATTEMPT ON LORD KITCHENER DENIED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, August 19. The,rumoured plot to assassinate Lord Kitchener by an Egyptian Oxford undergraduate (a. close adherent of Farid Bey, the Egyptian Nationalist leader), who had arowed his intention of procuring Lord Kitchener's assassination, is indignantly denied by the President of the Egyptian Society at Oxford.
