The Mayor of Portland (Oregon) has instructed the polic-e to arrest any woman 6een wearing an "X r ray dress" }n tho streets. The Mayor, when requested to state what constituted an "X-ray dress," said that the necks of their drosses were too low, the , slit skirts too < much slit, and the sheath dresses too much sheathed.
