INGENIOUS POINT BY PROSECUTED NEWSPAPER, By Telegraph—Preen Association—Copyright Perth, August 19. In - connection with the case of the "Sunday Times" newspaper, which was fined 40s. for publishing an unsigned article commenting on tho lato Federal elections, it is intended to appeal to a higher Court, on the ground that tho article had not been published till tho elections were over, though the returns were incomplete, and that, though the Act provided that the manuscript s'hould be signed it was not obligatory to publish the signature of the writer.
