: DOMINION ASSOCIATION. Nominations for members of tho Council of tho Dominion Bowling Association olosed on Friday night, in the North Island with Mr. J. J. Roberts (secretairy of tho Northern Bowling Association), and in tho South Island with Mr. Russell Smith, of Dtinedin. The nominations of tho Wellington and East Oonst centres were published on Saturday morning. As then indicated, tho Wanganui Centre nominated Messrs. A. Veitch, T, Bush, J. J. Roberts, and R. J. Collins, wlio were also put forward by tho AVellington and East Coast centres. Auckland's nominations, received on Saturday,' wero aa follow:—Vice-president, Mr. Mauric-o Casey; council, Messrs. G. Baildon, G. Court, and W. Coltman. No nominations were received from the Wairarapa or Manawatu centres. As tlioro aro more than fivo nominated to represent the North Island, there will be an election unless some of thio nominees withdraw. The full 'list of those nominated for the council in,this island is: Messrs. T. Bush, A. Veitch, J. J. Roberts, R. J. Collins, S. Underwood, G. Bnildon, G. Court, and W. Coltman. In the ordinary course tho list of nominees will bo forwarded to the centres, which will be asked to ballot for the fivo councillors from tho eight nominees.
