The annual match, between the combined Wairarapa dolt' Clubs and the Wellington Golt Club was played at Heretaunga on Saturday, and resulted in a win for Wellington by 11 games to 5. Christchurch, August 9. At the Shirley links to-day tho annual matches between tha Christchurch anil Otago clubs for the Hosking ami Hmimer Shields wero played. In the morning Christchurch won the Hosking Shield (singles) by 7 games to 1. Tn the afternoon Christchurch won tho Hanmer Shield (foursomes) by I,r hoies.
