COW-TESTING ASSOCIATION.

WOODVILLE RESULTS. At the first annual meeting of tho ,J \Voodvillo Cow-testing Association the president, Mr. Litchfield, made a strong appeal to dairymen to continue tho testing. The dairvmau whoso experieneo he mentioned, milks 18 cows which were tested individually throughout last season.' His records' showed that if his whole herd had come up to the same average return as the average of his four best cows, he would have been .£IOO better off without any increase in expenditure on labour, feed, and so on. Mr. W. M. Singleton, the Departmental officer in charge of cow-testing associations, addressed the meeting, and urged the members to continue the testing.
