One- speaker, who supported tho Liberal candidate at the; first ballot, stated that it was his mten-; tion to sell a largo interest which ho held: in one of tho papers at the first opportunity and invest tho proceeds in the formation of a new- Reform paper. . Lists aro to bo returnable in two; weeks, when it is expected a sum of .£soo' will bo forthcoming- from approximately 3000 Government supporters in tho elector-! ate. ' It was resolved to form a branch of thd Reform Longue at an early date.
