MISSIONARY DROWNED.
LAUNCH CAPSIZES IN A SQUALL. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. July 17, 8.45 p.m.) Sydney, July 17. News lias been received from the Islands that tho Rev. Charles Sage, of the Melanesian Mission at Solomon Islands, was drowned on June 7 last through the capsizing of the mission launch in a squall. The deceased. gentleman was o native of Victoria, and was ordained at Norfolk Island in April last. Ho had previously been fifteen years in mission work in Melanesia and elsewhere.
