A STRAIGHT-OUT COUNTRY PARTY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, July 8. At the annual conference of the Farmers' and Settlers' Association, speakers complained that country . members had been neglected by the Government, who had treated them as little boys. The need for the ending of the present wobbling, and the creating of a straight-out country party was urged. The conference will to-day decide the question of the creation of a party, MONEY CREDITS FOR FARMERS. Vancouver, July 7. Mr. Alexander Lucas, provincial member for Yale, one of the principal members of the British Columbian Royal Commission on Agriculture, leaves on Wednesday next by the Mar am a for Australia and New Zealand to inquire regarding the Government credit systems of both countries in assisting farmers.
