MANSION HOUSE ALLOCATION, By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Bee. July 8, 11.30 p.m.) London, July 8. The Mansion House Committee has allocated the Scott Fund. Lady Scott receives JE8500; Master Potcr Scott, her son, receives <£3500; Captain Scott's mother, and two sisters receive .£6000; Mrs. Wilson receives X 8500; Mrs. Bowers and her two daughters, *£'1500; Mrs. Evans and her children i 81250; Evans's mother, X 250; Mrs. Bt'issenden and 'her child, .£750; Mrs. Abbott, .£750. ' The various amounts will be vested in the Public Trustee. Lady Scott's amount, in the event oi her death, will revert to her child Peter. The committee will also pay ,£SIOO, the estimated deficiency on the expedition, and assigns for the publication of the. scientific results; for the Scott Memorial at St. Paul's, and the sculptured bronze figures of tho five dead explorers in Hyde Park. The balance of the Fund, estimated at .£IO,OOO, will bo devoted to future polar research work. As Captain Oates's relatives do not require any assistance, the committee will contribute towards a regimental memorial in his honour.
