If cabbages are young uso about twice, as much water as that given in above formula, if necessary gradually increasing th« strength of tho wish as the season advances and the growth hardens. Another good spray for tho control of aphis is one cake of sunlight soap boiled in 3 gallons of water, and applied with a fine spray, core being taken to seo that the 'undersides of the leaves are covered with the fluid.
