Court returns for Lower Hutt for the quarter ending- June 30 are as follow:-* Amount sued for, .£332 7s. 7d.; amount recovered, .£239 15s. Gd. Plaints were entered ill 50 cases; judgment case®, 12; distress warrants, 10; warrants, 79; civil fees, £26 195.; criminal fees, £8 165.; fines, i!ls 10s. 6d. During quarter 58 cases rtn heard and 34 convictions entered.
