x « ' A spccial attraction will bo provided in the Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Society's thirty-first animal show, in tlio Skating Rink, to-morrow, Thursday, and Friday. The management is holding an art union, by permission, in connection with the show, and tho drawing will tako place on Friday next, at 9.15 p.m., Tlio prizes may be obtained immediately afterwards. The tickets for the art union are Is., and the*holders are admitted to tho show on their production. The North Island Orpington Championship is being contested, also the championships of NewZealand and tlio Maoriland Coluuibarian Championship for Magpies and Tumblers. The number of entries received this year is very large,
