A Challcngo Cup for tho best shooting company was presented by Lady Islington, and 17 other cups from different parts of tho Dominion. The latter list is as follows:—Palmcrston North, 4; New Plymouth, 2; Mrs. Sidcy, 1; Mrs. Sargood, 1; Lady Maclean, 1; Mcsdames Pearce and Collins, 1; Mrs. Stott, 1; Mr. John Duthio, 1; Mrs. Joseph, 1; Lady Ward, 1. Collected for the Hibernian Catholic companies in Dunedin, by Mrs. O'Neil nnd ladies, 2 cups. A shield lios been presented by Mrs. Kebbell to tlio Weroroa Boys' Training Farm. Tho fund is now closed and handsome challonge cups, valued at X 5 each, with a medal for the best shot in each Cadet Company for this year, hove been ordered in tne Dominion by Mrs. Godley, and will, it is hoped, be ready for distribution boforo tho end of the year.
