On moving his motion last evening he was ruled out of order by the chairman. Tho latter pointed out that as delegates to the W.F.A. had been appointed at tho annual meeting of the W.F.A. the committeo had no power to cancel their appointment. The mover said that lie had brought the matter forward on account of the fact that at a recent meeting of tho N.Z.F.A. Wellington was not represented. During a general discussion 011 the wholo subject it was learned that Wellington had appointed two delegates to tho parent body, olio of whom only had the power of voting at executive meetings. Mr. Duncan asked how the appointment of tliis special delegate was made. In reply he was informed that the question was ono of mutual agreement between tho two delegates as to who should attend meetings of the N.Z.F.A. and vote. The question then arose as to how Wellington would fare if tho delegates with voting power happened to be out of town, which happened on many occasions. It was finally decided that the Wellington Management Committee should appoint tlio "voting" delegate to the council. With this object in view, Mr. Duncan moved: "That Mr. Williams 1)0 appointed Wellington's delegate on the executive of the N.Z.F.A." This was lost by four votes to three. Subsequently it was decided that Mr. Atkins bo appointed delegate on tho executive of the parent body, and that ho bo asked to notify tho other delegate when he cannot attend. BROWN SHIELD MATCH. • Next Saturday afternoon Wellington representatives will be called upon to defend a challengo from Otago for tho Brown Shield. The match is to take placo 011 the Basin Reserve, and is to cominonce at 2.15 p.m. Tho Otago representatives, under the managership of Mr. J. C. Cameron, arrive in Wellington by tho Maori to-morrow morning, and will stay at tho New Zcalander Hotel. They return homo by tho Mararoa 011 Saturday evening. The teams are as follow:—Otago—Goal, J.
