Tho Northern miners have applied for a Wages Board, the Minister having refused to grant a Special Court to deal with grievances. FARM LABOURERS THREATEN TO STRIKE. (Rec. June 17, 0.30 a.m.) Lon/don, June 16. Threa thousand farm labourers in. West Lancashiro have given notice to strike, failing a concession of a minimum wage of 245. weekly. SEPARATE SCALE FOR DIFFERENT COAL. (Rcc. June 17, 0.30 a.m.) London, June 18. He Forest Dean colliers have forwardod to the l Masters' Association a notice to terminate their wages' agreement, with a view to arranging for a separate scale of pay for steam coal and house coal.
