(By Telegraph.—Fress AESoeiatlon.) Dunedin, June G. The Otago Farmers' Union Mutual Firo Insurance Association held its eighth annual meeting on Thursday, Mr. W. Grey presiding. The annual report showed a successful year, and that the reservo account hod again been substantially added to. Tho total insurance business had increased by .£15,000, the total at tho balance date being .£179,70!). The directors, it was stated, were hoping_ to get power from Parliament at an early date to add accident insurance to tho business. The chairman, in mdving the adoption of tho report, said that during the eight years tho association had been in existence, the losses had amounted to only i£4ls Gs. 9d. They had already twice reduced rates. The retiring directors. Messrs. W. Grey, G. H. Stewart, D. M. Phillip, A. S. Or bell, J. Clark, O. Christie, and A. J. Webb, were leelcctcd.
