TRADE WITH FRANCE,
OVERTURES TO NEW ZEALAND. By Telegraph—Press Ajaoolation—Oopyrlffht (Reo. June 5, 9.45 p.m.) London, June 5. The French Chamber of Commerce in London has opened negotiations with the Hon. T. Mackenzie (Higli Commissioner for New Zealand) with a view of extending New Zealand trade, and discussed existing barriers, particularly the tariff, Mr. Mackenzie explained that New Zealand was desirous of extending her market. He suggested the possibility of mutual concessions.
