(By Tcleirraph.—Press Association.! * Dunedin, Juno Hi A meeting of temperance workers mi held in the Garrison llall to-night, the largo building being alwut half full. Tho chair was occupied by Sir. A. S. Adams. Tho speakers included the ltov. J. Dnweon, Rev. E. S. Gray, ami Mr. L. M. Isitt. if.P. Members of the audience were asked to sign cards containing a democratic voto nledge, and tho cards were afterwards colFectcQ by whew. It was resolved :'"Bl>at this meeting demands from Parliament tho untrammelled right to Question of the continuance of the llquoi traffic by tho simplo majority of tho vote* of tho people, as is done in tho case of al other public questions.
