SOME ADDITIONAL PARTICULARS,) It lias l»on made known, since tho Hon. J(l9. jVJlen arrived nt Auckland, that in addition to a loan of .£3,000,000, portion of which is for repayment of existing loans, the Government lias raised an additional sum of .£850,000 on the London market. Of this latior sum ,£250,000 Ims been raised ut .599 ss. and .£IOO,OOO at .£IOO 10s. Tho rate of interest on th« .£350,000 is the same as upon tho threa million loan, and the flotation charges are somewhat less than in tho caso of ' the main loan.
