When the building is completed, it will, it is stated, Ira one of the finest training colleges for officers possessed by the Salvation Army, and tho benefit will bo felt throughout Now Zealand, for officers will bo sent from tho college to all parts of tho Dominion. In connection with the laying of tho foundation-stono by the Prime Minister (tho Hon. W. F. Masscy) on' Monday next, a programme will bo issued bearing an appeal ou one side for funds, which will be received as a small token of appreciation for the disinterested labours of tho late General William Booth.

Little lias been <lono yet towards the building, beyond the laying of solid foundations. Preparations aro now being made to have everything in readiness by Monday next, when, in addition to tho stone laid by the Prime Minister on behalf of the peoplo of tho Dominion, Commissioner 'Richards will place a stone on behalf of the Salvation Army.
