TO-DAY'S DINNER.
[Bpeeially Written for Tub Dominion.] WEDNESDAY. Mutton Broth. Steak and Kidney Pie. Potatoes. Baked Parsnips. J;4n Roly Poly. STEAK AND KIDNEY PIE. One and a half pounds steak, 2 sheep's kidneys, loz. flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, 1 dessertspoon parsley or onion, Jib. flaky pastry. Cut tho steak up into uoat pieces, skin and wash tho kidneys, and cut up. Place tho steak and kidney in a piedish with tho flour, salt, pepper, and parsley, 1 dessertspoon stock or water, \and mix well. Roll out tjio pastry same shape as tho piedish, but about 1 inch larger; cut off strip all round at Jin. wide; wot round the top of the piedish, and lay this strip on. Wet tho strip, and then cover tho pie. Ornament with loaves, and mako a hole in tho top of tho pie. Brush ovor with egg or milk, and bake in a. hot oven for half an hour, then for 1 hour longer in a cooler oven. FOR TO-MORROW. Stock, vegetables, cold mutton, suet, apples. Dsflanoe Butter.
