COMMANDER EVANS'S TRIBUTE. AND THANKS. By Telegraph—Ptesa Association— OopjTijhl London, May 22. Commander Evans, during tho course of his lecture at the Royal Geographical Society's entertainment to tho officers and scientists of tho Scott Antarctic Expedition at tho Albert Hall, paid a glowing tributo to : the work done by Lieutenant Campbell's party, and Mr. Griffith Taylor's most valuablo journey to Victoria Land for geological survey purposes. Tho lecturer expressed a hope that Mr. Taylor would deliver a special paper on that expedition. Tho Terra Nova's ocoanic work was also worthy of a special account. Tho commander concluded by thanking tho publio of Britain and tho overseas Dominions for their generous support of Captain Scott's last appeal, support which would provide for tho relatives of those who perished, and give funds to publish the expedition's records.
