GOODS IN AN ENEMY'S SHIPS. By Telejraph-Press Association—Copyright Copenhagen, May 18., Tho International Conference on Maritime Law discussed the question of the validity of insurance on an enemy's goods in wartime.
Sir Edward Beauchainp, M.P., said the English underwriters would executo their liabilities without discrimination with regard to policies underwritten before or after the declaration of war.
[Sir Edward Beauchainp, who, has been a member of Lloyd's since 1873, became deputy-chairman in 1900, and chairman in 1905.]
