The next quarterly meeting of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association is to be held on May 30. The advance report to ix> presented states that tlm adoption of a ball for tho 1013 New Zealand Championship is now under consideration, and it is expected that a decision will bo arrived at by tho committee at its next meeting. The Australasian Association has stated that the estimated proceeds of tho tour of the British Team through Australasia will amount to £2100. The West Australian Association asks the New Zealand Association to support a proposal that tho proceeds bo distributed amongst the various associations affiliated to tlio Lawn Tonnis Association of Australasia. NewZealand's delegates to the Australasian Association have been requested to watch Ner Zealand's interests, and havo been informed that the New Zealand Association favoured a distribution, but desires to leave tho apportionment to tho Australasian Association. Settlement has not been obtained yet with the Canterbury Association ro tho Christchurch match, owing to a dispute between the Canterbury Association and the Lancaster Park Company Ltd. The balance-sheet shows a credit of >2380 ss. 2d. - The following tournaments' have been authorised for next year:—Hawke's Bay tournament, March 22 to 21, at Napier; West Coast Association's tournament, March 21, 22. 21, at Reefton; Marlborough Association's tournament, March 21, 22, 2t at Blenheim.
