PARLIAMENT BUILDINGS.
TENDERS TO BE CALLED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, May 3. The Premier stated in the course of a reply to a deputation in refcrenco to tlw> expenditure on public buildings tlmt within ihe next two or tlireo weeks tenders would lie called for the now Parliament Buildings m Wellington. Tho liino had come when it was impossible for Parliament to go on cny longer ill tho old buildings. This meant in tho courso of four years an expenditure of .£250,000. Tho buildings would probably take seven or eight years to complete.
