Oil tho latter matter he spoke at considerable lengfh, and proved that, as far as land aggregation was concerned, tho present Government was lil< no way responsible for what had taken place, 110 ridiculed soiuo of tho extravagant statements that had been mado, and read reixirts from the Lands Department demolishing assertions recently published. At tho closo of tho address some questions on local matters were asked and anOT On tho motion of Mr. Campbell, Mr. Guthrio received a heariv vote of thank* for his able and comprehensive nadress.
