ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTORS APPOINTED. The Government, recently .appointed n stall of five instructors to assist Mr. RoydGarlick (Director of Physical Education) in establishing the new scheme of physical education in schools. It has now.' been found necossary to appoint two additional' instructors.' Another olnmgo in tho staff arises from the fact that Mr. Alfred Davis (late of the Lands Office, Auckland), ono of tho recently-appointed instructors, finds it necessary, for private reasons, to resign his appointment and proceed to England. Tho newly-appointed instructors are Mr. A. Roydliouse, of Carterton, and Mr. Lan Galloway, who has been in the service of the Southland Education Board for some time. past. The new instructors will tako up;their duties on Monday next. The appointments have been mado from tho list of applications sent in prior to tho apiioiutmcnt of tho present staff. Tho vacancy created by tho resignation of Mr. Davis has not yet been filled, but iii this caso also an appointment will bo mado from amongst tho applicants who wore unsuccessful when tho original appointments wero mado.
