CARMEN.
"Carmen" is to bo performed in the Town llall to-morrow (Tuesday) evening by the lioyal Wellington- Choral Society, with Madame Carmen Pinschof as prima donna. Madame Pinschotf took the part of -"Carmen" with Musgrove's German Opera Company. The other soloists include Madame Wielaert, of Auckland; Mr. I'rank Graham, of Invcrcargill; and Mr. Hamilton Hodges, with a full chorus and orchestra under tlie baton of Mr. Maughan Barnctt. These should be capablc of giving a memorable performance. The final rehearsal will bo held in the Town Hall to-night at 7.30, to which hon. members are not to be admitted. Tho management have decided to sell at the Dresden 0110 hundred two shilling tickets. These will bo available at 9 o'clock this morning. Holders of reserved seats will assist tho committee by coining to tho Town Hall as early as possible to-morrow night. Suburban trains will bo delayed till 10.50 p.m.
