SUDDEN DEATH.

WELL-KNOWN DUNEDIN MAN DROPS IN STREET. ' (Br, Telegraph.—Press .'.tsociation.) Dunedin, April IG. Mr. Henry Guthrie, a well-known shipping agent aud coal merchant, died very suddenly this afternoon. He was passing Mr. John Mills's yard, in Rattray Street, when ho was caught by a scvero gust of wind, and was scon to lean up against an iron shed. Ho then suddenly collapsed, and two or tliTee gentlemen ran to his assistance. He gavo one or two gasps, and expired. Mr. Guthrie, who was born in 1837, had carricd on business hero since ISOi. Ho had been receiving medical attention for somo time, and death was duo to heart failure.
