PUBLIC SERVICE ASSOCIATION
Tho Organising Committee of the Wellington branch of the Public Service Association, consisting of Messrs. H. Eastgate, A. H. Holmes, H. F. Ilurle, F. W. Millar,'W. Penny. J. W. Macdonahi, F. Wallace, and_ A. Wells, appointed at. thespecial meeting of members held oil April 8, met on Friday night. Mr. Holmes • was elected chairman. Details of the plan of campaign were settled upon. Various officers in each Dopartmeiitfliavo -been appointed to assist in carrying on the canvass. Tho members of tho committee reported that a large number .of new members have been enrolled since the meeting on Tuesday last. As the time between now and the holding of tho annual meeting of the association is short, it is hoped that the officers of the Service will sign the application form as soon as possible so as to expedite the work of the committee. If any officer has not been waited' on, the committee will bo obliged if he 'would communicate with any of the members without delay.
